From the idea to a promising product concept: (Rapid) Prototyping

Do you know that?

A variety of new ideas and trends are constantly discussed internally without really coming to a promising concept.
But the competition has long been advertising new products and there is a risk of losing a market.
A very unpleasant situation.
We solve the problem for our customers.

Typical reasons are, for example, that the various authorities such as marketing, product development and management often have different ideas that cannot be easily combined.

The lack of internal resources also forces you to concentrate on the essentials; there are often no resources for new ideas.
In addition, the manufacturing costs and technical feasibility are usually impossible to estimate; special skills are required that are not available in-house.
However, without something “tangible”, the idea cannot progress because people always need something concrete in order to be able to make decisions.
In order to get out of this dilemma, one approach has proven to be a safe and particularly feasible way in our projects:

Prototyping as a feasibility study

We implement the existing idea within a very short time (a few days are usually enough) with an app, which is then available as the first feasibility study for device control.
Specifically, for example, a first version of the device control electronics is made operable via Bluetooth and a smartphone app; functions such as entering a password or selecting the system are only simulated in the app.

Your advantage:

With very little effort, a first usable (and good-looking) version of the system is created. Colleagues from marketing or management, but also the potential target customer, can get a personal impression. Based on this, further requirements are defined, which are then implemented in further versions.
If electronics are not yet available or the idea is still being developed, then “pre-prototyping” or our design workshops have proven to be particularly effective.
